Electrical Maintenance Technician III

About the role

Our Wayne County Eggs Farm in Wolcott, NY is looking for a Technical Associate III (Electrical) to join our team. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience with VFDs and PLC programming.

Responsibilities

• Work on a farm environment, including breaker panels, lighting circuits, and communications networks like Ethernet and Modbus.
• Read and understand schematic diagrams and troubleshoot control wiring and I/O devices (sensors, switches).
• Install and repair conduits, raceways, and wires/conductors as needed.
• Work flexible hours, typically 40+ per week with some weekend work.

Requirements

• Must have excellent understanding of Control wiring and I/O devices.
• Proficient with VFD and PLC circuits and components.
• Must be able to read and interpret schematic diagrams.
• Comfortable working around computers, breaker panels, and lighting circuits.
• Desired but not required: plumbing, refrigeration components, boiler/hot water/ventilation, computers.
