Electrical Maintenance Technician III - 3rd Shift

About the role

Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests and maintains electrical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety by stopping work and reporting any major injury hazards immediately.
• Adhere to HSE standards and promptly report any work-related injuries, illnesses, incidents, or hazards.
• Recognize the environmental impact of work and strive to minimize negative effects.
• Apply high standards of workmanship and craftsmanship to ensure equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system and support equipment uptime and downtime failure analysis.
• Perform troubleshooting, electrical repairs, and maintenance to ensure equipment operates smoothly and meets applicable codes and standards.
• Instruct and coach others to foster a collaborative and knowledgeable team environment.
• Actively participate in continuous improvement activities and TPM teams to drive enhancements in quality, safety, processes, material flow, and employee development.
• Provide troubleshooting support for equipment downtimes.
• Use CMMS system eMaint for all work orders.
• Perform basis PLC troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience to the extent such experience meets applicable regulations.
• Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training, or on-the-job experience.
• This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Pay

Base Rate: $30.50 - $37.07 per hour

Shift Premium: $1.00 per hour
