Position Summary

The Mundy Companies, a leader in the industrial maintenance, services, and construction fields, is currently hiring an Electrical Maintenance Technician – Facilities for a long-term position in the Victoria, Texas area.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical systems throughout office and commercial facilities. - Maintain and repair electrical distribution systems including panels, breakers, lighting systems, wiring, and receptacles. - Install, repair, and replace lighting fixtures, switches, outlets, and other electrical components. - Troubleshoot electrical issues affecting building systems, office spaces, and facility operations. - Support electrical maintenance for HVAC equipment, motors, pumps, and other building support systems. - Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. - Conduct routine inspections of electrical equipment to identify hazards or potential failures. - Ensure all work is performed in accordance with National Electrical Code (NEC) and company safety standards. - Respond to maintenance work orders and assist with facility improvement and upgrade projects. - Maintain accurate documentation of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.

Qualifications

- Minimum 3–5 years of electrical maintenance experience in commercial, industrial, or facilities environments. - Strong knowledge of commercial electrical systems and troubleshooting practices. - Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics. - Familiarity with NEC codes and electrical safety standards. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. - Valid driver’s license. - Journeyman Electrician License or equivalent experience (preferred). - Experience supporting commercial buildings, office complexes, or industrial facilities (preferred). - Knowledge of motor controls, lighting systems, and building electrical infrastructure (preferred). - NFPA 70E certification (preferred).

Physical Requirements

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs - Ability to work on ladders, lifts, and in confined spaces - Ability to stand, bend, and perform physical work for extended periods
