Electrical Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on field and facility equipment.
• Support electrical isolation procedures, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) activities.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, motors, lighting systems, power distribution equipment, and related infrastructure.
• Plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities to minimize downtime and maximize operational availability.
• Support field electrical builds, modifications, and upgrades.
• Work with vendors and subcontractors to support maintenance and project activities.
• Participate in plant modification activities in compliance with Management of Change (MOC) procedures.
• Identify opportunities for operational improvement, cost savings, and process simplification.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and reporting.
• Participate in shift meetings and communicate operational concerns effectively.

Requirements

• Valid/current Texas Journeyman Electrician or Master Electrician license required.
• Previous experience in electrical maintenance roles, preferably within the oil and gas industry.
• Experience with powerline systems and powerline builds strongly preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work effectively in fast-paced field environments with changing priorities.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
• Able to work independently while maintaining high safety and operational standards.
• Valid driver’s license required.
