About the role
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems within a manufacturing facility.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical issues in production equipment
- Install new electrical components and wiring as needed
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment
- Document all repairs and maintenance activities for record keeping
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- At least 2 years of related experience in electrical maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools
- Experience with electrical testing equipment
Skills
- Electrical troubleshooting
- Wiring and component installation
- Reading blueprints and schematics
- Safe work practices
