Electrical Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems within a facility. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in facilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
  • Document work performed and report findings to supervisors

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
  • At least 2 years of related experience in electrical maintenance
  • Knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices

Qualifications

  • Proficient in using electrical testing equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Skills

  • Electrician’s License (preferred)
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour based on experience

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
