About the role
The Electrical Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical systems within a facility. This includes troubleshooting issues, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all equipment operates safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions in facilities
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical systems
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
- Document work performed and report findings to supervisors
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- At least 2 years of related experience in electrical maintenance
- Knowledge of electrical codes and safety practices
Qualifications
- Proficient in using electrical testing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Skills
- Electrician’s License (preferred)
- Basic computer literacy
- Good communication and interpersonal skills

$20 - $25 per hour based on experience
