Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of electrical maintenance technicians.
- Assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
- Provide training and mentorship to junior staff.
- Cookordination with other departments to ensure timely maintenance and support.
PLC & Automation Systems
- Read, write, and troubleshoot programs for Allen Bradley PLC 5, SLC 500, ControlLogix, and DeviceNet.
- Program and configure HMI systems including Allen Bradley PanelViews and other HMI Panel Views.
Drive Systems
- Program and maintain PowerFlex 700, 70, 400, 40, 4, Siemens Drives, and Servo Drives and Motors.
Controllers & Specialized Equipment
- Work with Honeywell and Partlow Controllers, Soft Start Units, Induction Furnaces, and Furnace Analytical Equipment.
- Perform power factor correction and line balancing.
- Knowledge in Electronics.
Electrical Systems
- Install and troubleshoot wiring for AC & DC systems with voltages ranging from 120V to 1000V.
- Single and Three phase.
- Understand and apply principles of capacitance and reactance.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints and schematics.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of electronics and industrial automation.
- Ability to work safely with high-voltage systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with furnace systems and analytical equipment is a plus.
