Electrical Maintenance Planner
About the role
As an Entry-Level Electrical Planner, you'll be the bridge between design concepts and real-world execution. You will ensure that projects are planned with accuracy, efficiency, and safety in mind. From supporting senior planners to coordinating with engineers and contractors, you'll help bring complex electrical projects to life—on time and on budget.
Key Responsibilities
- Help develop detailed electrical work plans, schedules, and resource allocations for projects ranging from facility upgrades to new installations.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and vendor documentation to ensure agreement on project requirements.
- Prepare bills of materials, cost estimates, and procurement schedules.
- Cook up with field teams to track progress, resolve planning issues, and update schedules.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and help prepare progress reports for stakeholders.
- Learn and apply industry-standard planning tools such as Primavera P6 or SAP.
Qualifications
- An Associate's degree in Electrical Technology, or a related field (or equivalent technical training).
- Experience with electrical systems, components, and safety standards.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with SAP project scheduling software.
Pay
The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $64,800 to $81,000 per year.
