Electrical Journeyperson

About the Role

The Industrial Electrician Journeyperson is responsible for layout, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of complex electrical equipment and circuits, troubleshooting control systems, and ensuring safety compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on plant equipment
• Diagnose and resolve electrical malfunctions efficiently to minimize production downtime
• Follow OSHA and company safety procedures
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and promote teamwork

Requirements

• Minimum six years of related experience or a recognized electrical trade certificate
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including overtime, nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong problem-solving skills and technical troubleshooting abilities
• Physical capability to work in a busy environment, wear PPE, and lift up to 50 lbs
• Eligibility to work in the U.S. and pass comprehensive assessments and background checks
