Electrical Journeyperson

About the role

Industrial Electrician Journeyperson responsible for layout, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance of complex electrical equipment and control systems, working with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Follow OSHA safety procedures and company policies
• Maintain and repair electrical equipment
• Troubleshoot electrical malfunctions and diagnose issues
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on plant equipment
• Read and interpret electrical drawings and wiring schematics
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and promote teamwork
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills

Requirements

• Minimum of six years of related experience or a Department of Labor electrical certificate
• Ability to complete assessment, drug testing, and background check
• Must be at least 18 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, and on short notice
• Physical ability to work extended periods, lift up to 50 lbs., and wear PPE
• Ability to work in busy environments and operate mobile equipment

Additional Details

Positions may be filled at Journeyperson or Journeyperson in Training level, with compensation based on credentials and interview performance. Relocation and travel expenses are the responsibility of the applicant.
