Responsibilities
- Install conduit ranging from 1" to 4"
- Install AC and DC wiring for solar systems
- Run conduit and wiring from solar arrays to inverter locations
- Install junction boxes, disconnects, grounding systems, and related electrical components
- Mount and wire inverter systems
- Connect systems to main electrical service panels
- Label electrical equipment per NEC and local code requirements
- Install and secure solar racking systems
- Mount and secure solar panels
- Verify alignment and attachment integrity
- Inspect equipment for quality and compliance
- Review project plans and layouts
- Conduct site inspections
- Set up and maintain OSHA-compliant safety systems
- Utilize required PPE and fall protection equipment
Requirements
- Must Have:
- Active Journeyman Electrician License
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
- Basic tablet and computer skills
- Ability to travel for work assignments
- Strong safety mindset and work ethic
- Nice to Have:
- Solar installation experience
- Commercial electrical experience
- Experience installing conduit up to 4"
- Experience with AC and DC electrical systems
- Knowledge of NEC and local electrical codes
