WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Install, connect, test, and inspect electrical systems and equipment in accordance with project plans, specifications, and applicable codes.
- Perform electrical work for new construction, renovations, upgrades, and service projects.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using appropriate testing equipment to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to ensure accurate installations.
- Ensure all work meets local, state, and national electrical codes, as well as company quality standards.
- Maintain a strong commitment to safety by following company policies and industry best practices.
- Communicate effectively with project managers, team members, and clients to support successful project completion.
- Mentor apprentices and support team members to promote a productive and professional work environment.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial, industrial, and/or service electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and applicable local/state regulations.
- Proven ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting, testing, and resolving electrical system issues.
- Proficiency in the safe use of electrical tools, testing equipment, and job-site technology.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation (company vehicle eligibility as applicable).
- Physical ability to perform the essential functions of the role, including lifting, climbing, bending, and working in various environmental conditions.
