We are a quickly growing small business looking for the right person to join the organization for more than just a job. Limited on-call shifts or rotations are required, and we will never expect you to sell our services unless you want to of course. Qualifications

• State of Michigan Journeyman/Journeywoman's License (4th or 5th year apprentices about to test out for their JW are welcome to apply; out of state licenses that don't reciprocate, send us your info, and we'll find a solution)
• Valid driver's license; No DUI convictions or license suspensions within five years
• Verification of US Citizen or approved to work in the US
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test

Skills & experience

• Strong customer service and communication skills are a must
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, wiring, and operating principles
• Must be familiar and able to navigate current NEC codes
• Experience working in residential, commercial and light industrial spaces
• 120/240v, 120/208v, 277/480v systems with the occasional delta high-leg
• Must be a self-starter
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, schematics, and written reference material
• Ability to install, repair or replace electrical wiring, receptacles, switches, boxes, conduits, feeders, and line assemblies, lighting, and alternative electrical parts
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to perform necessary electrical mathematical calculations
• Ability to diagnose and resolve electrical problems
• Ability to use hand and power tools
• Respect for safety needs and proper safety protocols. Safety is a top priority at B's Electric LLC. All employees must always comply with our established safety procedures
• Must possess a "teamwork makes the dream work" attitude!
• Light cost estimation experience is a plus! (For future job responsibilities as we grow. Will definitely train the right candidate)
• Familiarity with Windows and mobile operating systems
• Other misc duties as assigned by a supervisor as well as the client

Compensation

• Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule

Full-time, limited on-call duties, work schedule is generally M-F.

Physical requirements & work conditions

Continuous walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, pushing, reaching, carrying and heavy lifting (50-75 lbs.). Exposure to all weather elements. Must be able to work at varying heights using man lifts, ladders or other equipment. Frequent travel around Mid-Michigan and the Thumb area.
