Electrical/Instrumentation Tradesman

About the role

Reporting to the E&I Supervisor, the E&I Tradesman is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mill-wide equipment and machinery. The role involves working days, nights, or a combination of both, including overtime, and progressing through the Twin Rivers' Trades Qualification Review process while accepting training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mill-wide equipment and machinery
• Work days, nights, or a combination of both, including overtime
• Progress through the Twin Rivers' Trades Qualification Review process
• Accept and complete training as required

Requirements

• Demonstrated work history and a commitment to safety
• Minimum of a technical Associate's degree in the Electrical and/or Instrumentation discipline
• Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment
• Experience in a paper environment or related industry

Qualifications

Preference will be given to applicants who have:

• Five or more years of trade experience
• A Journeyman's electrical license
• Knowledge of drives, PLCs, DCS, or other electrical certifications
