About the role
Reporting to the E&I Supervisor, the E&I Tradesman is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mill-wide equipment and machinery. The role involves working days, nights, or a combination of both, including overtime, and progressing through the Twin Rivers' Trades Qualification Review process while accepting training.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain mill-wide equipment and machinery
- Work days, nights, or a combination of both, including overtime
- Progress through the Twin Rivers' Trades Qualification Review process
- Accept and complete training as required
Requirements
- Demonstrated work history and a commitment to safety
- Minimum of a technical Associate's degree in the Electrical and/or Instrumentation discipline
- Ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment
- Experience in a paper environment or related industry
Qualifications
Preference will be given to applicants who have:
- Five or more years of trade experience
- A Journeyman's electrical license
- Knowledge of drives, PLCs, DCS, or other electrical certifications
