Responsibilities
- Understand written and verbal instructions
- Draft detailed drawings for the organization
- Implement feedback from engineers and designers
- Visit sites to gather information and determine limitations and feasibility of designs
- Work overtime and travel when necessary to meet deadlines
Requirements
- Technical degree in drafting or similar
- Practical experience with CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc)
- Experience with Revit 3D modeling software
- Technical design skills
- Knowledge of engineering and construction
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Superb work ethic and ability to accept feedback
- Willingness to work overtime when required
- Proficient in MS Word/Excel
- Ability to work on job sites gathering information
- Occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery
Qualifications
Interpret project design directives provided by clients, engineers, and designers to ensure all drawings are completed as required.
Skills
Developing technical drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software
