Electrical Generator Assembly - Jenbacher Engines

About the role

At INNIO, you'll play a hand-on role in the assembly of Jenbacher generators on a new manufacturing line in Waukesha, WI. INNIO is a global distributed energy solutions provider that delivers reliable, flexible, transient, decentralized, modular and efficient power.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and wire industrial control panels based on electrical schematics.
• Perform electrical installations on production lines.
• Conduct system testing to ensure compliance with U.S. standards.
• Document all work accurately and maintain records.
• Operate cable assembly equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues.
• Contribute ideas to improve processes and workflows.

Requirements

• Completed training or certification in electrical, electronics, electrical installation, or mechatronics.
• Hands-on experience in control panel assembly, machine installation, or system commissioning.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.
• Knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLC).
• Ability to work shifts, overtime, and adapt to team needs.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Self-motivated with a willingness to learn.
• Commitment to safety, health, and environmental standards (OSHA compliance).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

• $20 - $25 per hour based on experience.
