Electrical General Foreman

About the role

We are seeking experienced Electrical General Foreman to lead new construction projects across the DFW area. This role is responsible for overseeing field operations, managing crews, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The General Foreman partners with Project Managers and field leadership to ensure successful execution aligned with company values.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the everyday activities of your assigned personnel such as Foreman, JIW, Helper/Apprentice.
• Procure, assign, assess, evaluate and allocate resources, material, tools and documents required for the project.
• Provide the most cost-effective and efficient means available in order to produce a profitable project.
• Schedule the crew with the Project Manager and/or Senior GF/Superintendent.
• Assist with Foreman daily duties.
• Identify potential leaders, Mentorship.
• Identify better processes.

Qualifications

• Valid TDLR Electrical Journeyman License
• 6+ years of electrical experience (commercial/industrial)
• 2+ years as a Foreman
• OSHA 30 Certification
• CPR & First Aid Certification
• NFPA 70E Training

• Use all power tools, saws, threaders, wire tuggers, hydraulic benders, and knockout punches

• Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blueprints, and written instructions
• Operate and work from mechanical personnel lifts (electric or gas powered)
• Supervise assigned job site employees to complete project
• Communicate effectively in English
• Bi-Lingual is a plus
