Electrical General Foreman

Key Responsibilities

• Leads and manages field crews, including Apprentices, Journeymen, and Foremen, ensuring project execution meets quality and safety standards.
• Oversees daily project operations, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
• Communicates effectively with Project Managers, Superintendents, and upper management regarding project progress and challenges.
• Allocates manpower, tools, and equipment to optimize project productivity.
• Covers with General Contractors, subcontractors, and stakeholders for seamless project execution.
• Plans and schedules electrical installations from layout to final inspections, maintaining accuracy and compliance.
• Mentors and trains field employees, promoting professional development and technical growth.
• Solves conflicts and addresses on-site issues to maintain a productive and positive work environment.
• Participates in project planning meetings, offering insights to enhance project outcomes.
• Implements industry best practices and company standards to ensure project efficiency and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High school diploma or GED.
• Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent certification.
• Ten (10) years of experience in the electrical construction industry, with leadership experience.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Preferred: Experience with budget management and resource allocation.
• Experience managing multiple mid- to large-scale electrical projects.
