What you'll do...
- Plan, organize, and direct the work of the job crew employees on a daily basis
- Discipline and counsel employees as needed, as well as motivate employees on a regular basis
- Hire and direct the training of employees as needed, as well as discharge employees in accordance with company policies and procedures
- Maintain familiarity with plans, specifications, and job folder contract scope
- Attend coordination meetings as required and provide necessary information
- Monitor and document the progress of the job using appropriate forms listed on the Mobile App
- Provide a Lead person with current and accurate information by generating RFI’s, memos, and other forms of communication
- Monitor, direct, and improve as necessary the quantity of work performed by the crew
- Communicate company policies and procedures to the job crew
- Apply knowledge of National Electrical Codes as needed
- Order daily materials as needed and follow up at the end of each workday
- Monitor and manage tool control for the job site
- Ensure the job site is properly cleaned up at the end of each workday
- Ensure compliance with all job safety standards established by company and all regulatory agencies
- Monitor and track employee work time as necessary, as well as approve work time as needed
What you'll need to succeed...
- A High School diploma / GED or equivalent
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience as an Electrician (Industrial or Data Center Preferred)
- A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Foreman
- An NCCER certified Industrial Electrician or an Electrician State License is a Plus)
- Must be able to pass a DISA D/A test
- Demonstrated safe and proficient operation of equipment in a variety of work environments
- Must be able to perform physical duties (Lifting, walking, climbing, bending, and leaning for extended periods of time)
- Must be able to work in inclement weather (Hot, Cold) including working on high areas
- Bend and install rigid conduit
- Set up and pull wire and cable
- Terminate power, control, and instrumentation wire and cable
- Install electrical gear, equipment, and devices
- Install and troubleshoot PLC's
- Install and troubleshoot AC and DC Drives
- Single and Three Phase motors and motor control systems
- Solid/stable/proven experience in electrical field
- Read/comprehend tape measure, blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, work orders, instructions, formulas and processing charts
- Must have knowledge of the NEC (National Electrical Code) and OSHA safety standards
- Installs of conduits using a hand, mechanical, or hydraulic bender
- Knows, understands, and follows OSHA and Safety Regulations
- Follows L.O.T.O policies
Physical demands...
- Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds independently; lifting from knee to shoulder heights; other lifting required from various levels
- Must be able to carry and transport up to 60 pounds up to 20 feet
- Requires standing for extended periods with frequent stretching, reaching, walking, and stooping, pushing and/or pulling in an environment that may be cold, hot, noisy, and wet and may have fumes or odors
