Travelling Electrical Foreman

About the role

Jet Industries Inc. is seeking a Traveling Foreman for work in the state of Oregon. The position includes payment for travel and company-provided lodging.

Responsibilities

• Installation of electrical distribution equipment, services, and panels
• Installation of in-ground conduits
• Installation of lighting and lighting control systems
• Installation of wiring, including but not limited to NMB, MC, single conductor cable, and conduit (EMT, PVC, and rigid) systems
• Installation of low-voltage systems
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and devices
• Read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Operate a variety of equipment, such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware
• Operate various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments

Requirements

• The ability to obtain an Oregon Journeyman's License
• Basic proficiency in English

Qualifications

• Must be able to read complex blueprints, piping, sketches, schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Must be able to operate a variety of equipment, such as hand tools and diagnostic hardware
• Must be able to operate various measuring, diagnostic, and testing instruments

Skills

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical wiring, lighting, and devices
