About the Role
A growing family-owned electrical contractor with a strong pipeline of multifamily and commercial work is seeking an Electrical Foreman to lead projects throughout South Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced Foreman or a high-performing Journeyman/Lead Electrician ready to step into greater field leadership, project ownership, and long-term career growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead day-to-day electrical construction activities on assigned projects
- Supervise electricians, apprentices, and subcontracted labor
- Plan manpower, materials, sequencing, and daily field activities
- Read and interpret electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Keep electrical work aligned with project schedules and milestones
- Coordinate directly with Project Managers, General Contractors, subcontractors, and other trades
- Ensure installations comply with current NEC requirements and applicable local codes
- Maintain quality, safety, and productivity standards in the field
- Identify field conflicts and proactively develop practical solutions
- Coordinate material needs and help prevent delays
- Track progress and communicate project needs clearly to management
- Take ownership of assigned projects with limited day-to-day oversight
- Support lean internal crews supplemented by subcontracted labor
- Help develop apprentices and less experienced electricians
- Contribute to a smooth project closeout and punch process
Requirements
- Approximately 5+ years of electrical construction experience
- Previous Foreman, Lead Electrician, or Journeyman-level experience
- Strong knowledge of current NEC requirements
- Ability to read and interpret electrical construction drawings
- Ability to independently coordinate field activities
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Reliable and accountable work style
- Ability to take ownership of project execution
- Comfort supervising both internal employees and subcontracted labor
- Ability to work throughout South Central Pennsylvania and Northern Maryland
- Valid driver's license and ability to safely operate a company vehicle
Preferred Qualifications
- Multifamily electrical construction experience
- Commercial electrical construction experience
- Experience with new construction
- Renovation or conversion project experience
- Maryland Journeyman license
- Experience managing projects with electrical contract values of $1 million or more
- Experience coordinating crews of 5-10 electricians
- Procore experience
- Experience working with General Contractors on long-duration projects
- Experience developing apprentices and future field leaders
- Interest in progressing toward Project Management or other leadership responsibilities

Pay
Target hourly compensation of $33-$40, depending on experience. Consideration in the $45-$55 per hour range for highly experienced Foremen.
