Electrical Foreman

About the role

Suncoast Electric & Air is a leader in electrical contracting, known for delivering high-quality residential, commercial, industrial, and residential electrical services. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Foreman to join our growing team and oversee on-site operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of electrical crews on-site.
• Interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents.
• Ensure work is performed in compliance with local electrical codes and standards.
• Schedule inspections and manage materials, tools, and equipment on site.
• Communicate effectively with project managers, contractors, and clients.
• Train and mentor apprentices and journeyman electricians.
• Maintain high safety standards and enforce safety protocols.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED (a technical school or relevant certifications may be a plus).
• A valid Electrical Journeyman or Master Electrician license.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the electrical trade.
• A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or foreman role.
• Strong knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• A strong understanding of reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and plans.
• An OSHA certification is preferred.
• A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
