Electrical Foreman
About the role
As an electrical foreman, you’ll play a critical leadership role with a significant impact on project success, ensuring high levels of quality, safety, and customer satisfaction. Foremen at Power Design have access to innovative technologies in the field—including fully-equipped iPads—and travel to our 16,000-square-foot training facility in St. Petersburg, Florida, for customized training courses.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with the project superintendent and other trades to oversee the assigned scope, including managing material and manpower.
- Enforce and promote high quality and safety standards.
- Utilize technology such as company-provided iPads and smartphones to ensure projects are completed on time and exceed customer expectations.
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate employees working on your designated scope.
Requirements
- At least five (5) years of experience managing a scope and running multimillion-dollar projects for an electrical contractor.
- Active journeyman or master electrician license.
- Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC), local codes, and construction safety requirements.
- Basic computer and writing skills.
