Electrical Foreman

About the Role

We are seeking a decisive leader with a passion for hands-on work in outdoor environments and a strong drive for safely performing construction project management. This position requires someone who thrives in a team-based environment and can contribute quickly. The Electrical Foreman will work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal sectors as part of a growing team.

Responsibilities

• Schedules, coordinates, and supervises field employees assigned to electrical construction or service projects.
• Works in cooperation with other trades persons to ensure all specifications, regulations, and policies are met.
• Ensures efficient completion of projects in accordance with building codes and safety standards.
• Supervision and leadership of electrical crews.
• Production control and cost management.
• Waste elimination and customer satisfaction.
• Safety and hazard recognition and elimination.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
• Equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience can substitute for education.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of electrical construction experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
• Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
• Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
• Personal transportation required.

Skills

• Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, contract documents, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings, and other documents.
• Analytical thought process to troubleshoot and resolve difficult problems.
• Ability to effectively supervise and evaluate craft performance.
• Capable of managing and leading electrical crews.
• Willingness to work overtime and/or long hours as required.
• Willingness to travel for projects as needed.
