About the Role
We are seeking a decisive leader with a passion for hands-on work in outdoor environments and a strong drive for safely performing construction project management. This position requires someone who thrives in a team-based environment and can contribute quickly. The Electrical Foreman will work within Industrial, Commercial, Healthcare, and Federal sectors as part of a growing team.
Responsibilities
- Schedules, coordinates, and supervises field employees assigned to electrical construction or service projects.
- Works in cooperation with other trades persons to ensure all specifications, regulations, and policies are met.
- Ensures efficient completion of projects in accordance with building codes and safety standards.
- Supervision and leadership of electrical crews.
- Production control and cost management.
- Waste elimination and customer satisfaction.
- Safety and hazard recognition and elimination.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree preferred.
- Equivalent combination of technical training and/or related experience can substitute for education.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of electrical construction experience, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
- Positive safety attitude and personal integrity.
- Valid driver’s license and driving record that meets company insurance requirements.
- Personal transportation required.
Skills
- Working knowledge of various construction disciplines, contract documents, cost control, scheduling, safety regulations, engineering drawings, and other documents.
- Analytical thought process to troubleshoot and resolve difficult problems.
- Ability to effectively supervise and evaluate craft performance.
- Capable of managing and leading electrical crews.
- Willingness to work overtime and/or long hours as required.
- Willingness to travel for projects as needed.
