Electrical Foreman

About the role

Spark Power Corp USA is seeking an experienced electrical foreman to provide technical expertise, project supervision, and administrative support for operations in the Raleigh, North Carolina area. The role requires the ability to travel as needed for work. The ideal candidate will supervise the installation of electrical systems in accordance with current electrical codes and customer specifications, ensuring jobs are performed safely and efficiently while keeping customers and equipment operational.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate commitment to safety in the workplace and lead by example.
• Supervise a variety of electrical construction, maintenance, and service projects for a diverse customer base.
• Install electrical components such as panels, wiring, junction boxes, devices, terminations, and lighting.
• Inspect the work of all assigned crew members to ensure the highest standards and craftsmanship (quality assurance).
• Communicate with customers to gather information about their needs, formulate plans, and clearly communicate those plans to the team.
• Prepare reports and communicate progress back to branch staff.
• Make decisions with minimal supervision based on relevant experience and knowledge of code/regulations.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant electrical experience, preferably in industrial, commercial, and/or institutional sectors.
• Able to troubleshoot complex industrial installations.
• Familiarity with instrumentation and controls.
• Working knowledge of all relevant electrical codes (NFPA, NEC, etc.).
• Thorough ability to read blueprints and wiring diagrams.
• OSHA 10 certification is a plus.
• Proficiency with computer programs (Microsoft programs, email, time entry).
• Ability to travel as needed.
