Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for safety, quality control, and productivity.
- Engage in the development and implementation of new Encore standards and processes.
- Lead by example, motivating the crew and maintaining high morale.
- Train, develop, and mentor apprentices and journeymen.
- Communicate project goals and expectations to all levels of the organization.
- Coordinate with other trades and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Manage resources effectively, including ordering materials and tools, and scheduling manpower.
- Perform daily huddles to discuss upcoming tasks and provide feedback.
- Write and track Request for Information sheets, and maintain accurate records.
- Perform duties as assigned, including performing hot work if qualified.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- A degree in a related field is preferred.
- Four years of apprenticeship training.
- One to five years of experience as an Electrical Foreman, with five years preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Completion of Leadership Level I Leadership (Supervision).
Qualifications
- Familiarity with the construction process from scheduling to manpower and equipment requirements.
- Knowledge of electrical construction to manage costs and electrical estimates.
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks and stand for extended periods.
- Physical requirements include driving, sitting, climbing, lifting up to 50 lbs, carrying up to 50 lbs, standing, stooping, walking, kneeling, pushing, and pulling up to 100 lbs.
