37 hours per week | between 06:00 - 15:30 Monday to Thursday | Hourly rate: £17.73 - £19.10 ph (DOE)
About the role
We're looking for a skilled Electrical Fitter to join a busy production team, installing and commissioning electrical systems on specialist vehicles. If you enjoy hands-on work, fault-finding, and working from technical drawings to deliver high-quality builds, we'd love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Installing wiring harnesses, control panels and electrical components
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and engineering drawings
- Testing, inspecting and commissioning electrical systems
- Diagnosing and rectifying electrical faults
- Completing work to high quality and safety standards
- Supporting continuous improvement and production targets
Requirements
- Previous experience in an electrical fitting or vehicle electrician role
- Ability to read electrical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills
- Electrical qualifications such as City & Guilds or equivalent
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Comfortable working to production timescales
