Electrical & Hydraulic Fitter
About the role
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-focused Electrical & Hydraulic Fitter to join our Manufacturing team in Worksop. This is a practical role where you’ll be responsible for assembling and fitting electrical and hydraulic systems to a high standard, ensuring all work meets build specifications and quality requirements in line with BS EN ISO 9001.
Responsibilities
- Interpret electrical and hydraulic drawings accurately
- Carry out electrical and hydraulic fitting and electro-mechanical assembly
- Take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of your work
- Maintain good housekeeping standards and follow all health and safety procedures
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support planning and improvement activities
- Adapt to different tasks and support across departments when required
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment
Requirements
- Training or experience in fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical systems
- Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment
- Ability to problem-solve and work to production schedules
- Confidence reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
- A team-focused approach with good attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop new skills
- Auto-electrical qualifications and CANbus knowledge (desirable)
- Flexibility to support overtime when required
Qualifications
Training or experience in fitting, hydraulics, pneumatics, or electrical systems. Experience working in a manufacturing or engineering environment. Pay
Up to £17.90 per hour DOE
Schedule
40 hours per week | between 06:00 and 16:30 Monday to Thursday
