About the role
The Electrical Field Technician - Electrical Services works in various industries including Oil & Gas, Concrete, Electrical, Energy, and others. The role involves performing general labor tasks, assisting electricians and electrical foremen, and handling various small equipment like excavators, telehandlers, skid steers, manlifts, and more.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain construction and electrical-related projects, including installing lights, running wires and conduit, digging, small concrete pours, erecting metal buildings, etc.
- Assist with the installation of utility poles.
- Utilize hand tools, industrial power tools, and electrical equipment safely and effectively.
- Stage tools and materials and assist as required.
- Perform paperwork and documentation to ensure accurate record-keeping, billing, and inventory management.
- Maintain company tools, equipment, and vehicles in a professional and workman-like manner.
- Assist other trades such as welding, pipe fitting, carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, rigging, excavation, ditching, trenching, insulating, and fabricating.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent GED.
- 2+ years' experience with general construction or electrical preferred.
- Candidates with trade school electrical certifications are encouraged to apply.
- Valid driver's license required.
- Ability to recognize and safely utilize hand and small power tools.
- Ability to operate small equipment such as a mini excavator, manlift, etc.
- Ability to read a tape measure.
- Comfortable working at heights (such as from a bucket truck).
- Able to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Dependable, trustworthy, and possesses a positive and productive attitude.
- Works well with co-workers and customers.
Qualifications
- Preferred trade school electrical certification.

Schedule
- Extended hours, including weekends, holidays, and occasional night shifts or call-out work.
- Indoor and outdoor work in all types of weather.
- Working at heights up to 40 ft.
- Occasional travel required, including overnight stays.
