Position Summary

This position requires working knowledge of electrical distribution equipment from major manufacturers (Square D/Schneider, GE, Siemens, Eaton, ABB, etc.) and familiarity with power distribution systems. Candidates should have at least five (5) years of relevant field service experience (electrical contractor service group, OEM service group, NETA testing company, or similar).

Key Responsibilities

- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel regionally. - Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and ongoing customer-required screening as needed. - Ability to manage a busy field schedule and arrive prepared and on time. - Ability to work independently and as part of a crew. - Ability to follow all Infinity TSD and customer safety procedures. - 5+ years field service experience with an electrical OEM, electrical power testing company, or electrical contractor in an industrial environment (or equivalent power distribution background). - Strong knowledge of three-phase power distribution systems. - Working knowledge of low and medium voltage equipment, including switchgear, switchboards, MCCs, panelboards, circuit breakers, busway, starters/contactors, grounding systems, ground-fault systems, and protective relays. - Track travel expenses and complete monthly expense reports with required documentation. - Deliver consistent, professional customer service on every job site. - Prepare professional customer test reports using PowerDB.

Requirements

- Must be at least 18 years of age - Minimum 5 years of experience with medium and/or low voltage electrical power distribution equipment. - Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. - Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in field environments.

Preferred Experience

PLC & Automation Skills - Experience with PLC programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting in industrial environments - Ability to upload, download, and maintain PLC programs and backups - Experience performing online and offline PLC diagnostics and troubleshooting - Familiarity with PLC hardware configuration, rack setup, and I/O module diagnostics - Ability to interpret PLC logic and troubleshoot control sequences - Experience safely testing and verifying field inputs and outputs during startup and commissioning

Working Conditions

- Extensive nationwide travel to data center construction sites. - Work performed exclusively on data center projects, often in active construction or commissioning phases. - Physical requirements include standing, climbing, lifting to 50 lbs., and working around electrical equipment following strict safety protocol - Physical ability to lift test equipment/materials, climb ladders, work at heights (lifts/ladders), and perform occasional confined space work.
