Electrical Facilities Equipment Service Technician

About the role

This position is part of the Facilities department, responsible for maintaining buildings, utilities, and equipment through preventative maintenance, repairs, and upgrades. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems, evaluating equipment improvements, and supporting reliability‑centered maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical systems, and building controls.
• Analyze equipment failures and recommend improvements.
• Participate in team activities to enhance equipment reliability.
• Mentor colleagues and share best practices.

Qualifications

• 2‑year technical degree or equivalent experience.
• Preferred: 3 years of experience in a facilities environment.

• Knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC, mechanical troubleshooting, and building management systems.
