Electrical Engineering Leader - Building Design

This isn't just a job, it's a chance to lead innovation, engineer impact, and build a legacy of excellence. HDR is looking for an Electrical Engineering Leader to join our Building Engineering Services (BES) Business Group in Folsom or Walnut Creek, CA.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical engineering expertise, supervising, and mentoring
• Responsible for producing electrical systems design for various markets including Water/Wastewater, Municipal, Industrial, Federal, Resources, Transportation, Health Care, Technology, and Commercial
• Operate the Northern California Building Engineering Services (BES) electrical team including staff development, workflow and forecasting, proposals and level of effort, scheduling, profitability, morale, and quality control
• Lead and coordinate services with other disciplines
• Select, train, develop, and manage technical personnel
• Implement, monitor, and support company policy
• Assist with administrative responsibility for section staff and technical service functions
• Work cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts
• Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a Professional, Architecture, Engineering or closely related field
• 10 years of experience
• Committed to quality, improvement and HDR values
• Maintains a professional or engineering registration and has related technical experience
• Experienced in development and management of diverse teams
• Works cooperatively with other area business class leaders, operations managers, technical directors and marketing managers on business class efforts

Qualifications

• Proficiency with SKM electrical system modeling software
• Proficiency with lighting modeling software such as Visual Lighting Modeling

Benefits

Stated benefits are for full-time regular positions. The expected compensation range for this position is $156,464.00 - $223,520.00 annually depending upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
