Electrical Engineering Intern | St. Louis, MO

What You'll Do

• Aid with design portions of projects related to discipline systems according to code and IMEG standards
• Research resources for commercially available equipment
• Support good client relations, project design notebooks, and documentation for permanent record files
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate design and schedules with architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers
• Document design decisions, meetings, and instructions from clients while monitoring project design progress
• Review project documents for accuracy and completeness before requesting a final check
• Prepare and issue addendum information
• Conduct periodic job site observations and perform other services as required by the contract services agreement

What You'll Bring

• Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required
• Prior internship experience in the building design consulting industry preferred
• Strong interest in design consulting
• Previous exposure to CAD and/or BIM software
• Proficient with MS Office Suite including but not limited to Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups
