Electrical Engineering Department Manager

About the role

The Electrical Engineering Department Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the department, ensuring that all projects are completed on time and within budget. They also manage the team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and support as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the department’s projects from conception to completion
• Manage a team of engineers and technicians
• Provide guidance and support to the engineering team
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients and stakeholders

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical engineering management
• Proven leadership and project management skills
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with project management software such as Primavera or Microsoft Project
• Knowledge of electrical engineering principles and practices
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed
