Job Description

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Work with a team in the development of new generation controls solutions and engage in analyses of complex field and manufacturing challenges.
- Key responsibilities will include working with a team to develop new PCBs for system and robot controllers and developing Engineering Design Specifications.
- Work will include technical presentations and cross-functional issue resolution.
- Responsible for ensuring proper documentation, consistent use of processes and systems, and engineering design standards are followed.
- Must be capable of working collaboratively with mechanical and software engineers on complete product solutions.
- In a typical week, the priorities for the individual and the team are defined in our on-line project system. Long-term development projects will progress, a question or issue may arise from a customer or from our operations team requiring a quick investigation and response, input at multiple design reviews may be given, and hands on prototyping or testing may be done in our labs.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
- Bachelors Degree in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering with 3+ years of experience in an Electrical Engineering role.
- Spice modeling and analysis, or equivalent.
- Digital circuit design with Microcontrollers and communication protocols (SPI/I2C/Serial).
- DC-DC power supply circuits.
- Component selection and data sheet interpretation.
- Cable design.
- Experience using standard lab equipment and tools.
- Prototyping and debugging circuits in a lab.
- Standard Windows applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to learn complex systems quickly and work independently.
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical communication and presentation skills.
- Competency in Altium preferred.
- Occasional travel.
Compensation
Compensation Base Salary Range: $105,593.46 USD to $142,861.74 USD Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. This position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
