Tetra Tech is seeking a Mid to Senior Electrical Engineers in Englewood, CO, Casper, WY, and Billings, MT offices. Join Tetra Tech to make a real difference. Responsibilities

  • Provide electrical and power design support for pipeline, compressor station, and terminal/tank projects nationwide.
  • Participate in a multi-disciplinary project team in a lead role.
  • Design, engineering, and technical expertise in Electrical or Power Engineering, with Oil and Gas experience preferred.
  • Proficient with cable and conduit schedules, ETAP, power equipment sizing; well-versed in NFPA 70.
  • Construction support, site commissioning, and start-up experience.
  • Exposure to Substation design is a plus.
  • Experience specifying and procuring electrical equipment.
  • Train Junior staff, communicate with peers, contractors, and clients clearly and efficiently.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills.
  • Self-starter capable of handling solo projects as well as working with a group, eager to expand knowledge base, teach others, and be detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Pre-employment drug screen in compliance with federal regulations is required.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record without restrictions.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Revit is desired.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering.
  • A minimum of 5-10 years of experience in Electrical or Power Engineering, with Oil and Gas experience preferred.
  • P.E. preferred.

Target salary range

$90,000.00 to $155,000.00. Please note that Tetra Tech considers various factors in determining pay, including but not limited to: education, relevant and demonstrated work experience in the role, skills, geographic location, qualifications, certifications, and other competencies relevant to the needs of the business.

Physical Requirements

  • Constantly required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms.
  • Constantly use hands to keyboard or type, handle materials, or manipulate objects.
  • Frequently moving about to accomplish tasks.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this classification include close vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing abilities required by this classification includes those which permit the employee to discern verbal instructions and communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
  • Requires composure and ability to prioritize and handle several urgent tasks and requests simultaneously with a high level of competence and accuracy.
  • Occasionally climbing stairs and ladders to read meters at active oil & gas sites.
