Electrical Engineer, Lead

Responsible for

• Developing electrical, controls, and automation solutions for equipment built in CWST Engineering (Gastonia, NC)
• Integrating with mechanical design
• Providing technical support for deployed equipment
• Traveling to various CWST sites globally for equipment installation

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or similar field
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar or complimentary role
• Demonstrated ability to apply sound engineering judgement to resolve technical challenges
• Programming experience is desirable - including PLCs, Industrial Automation software, LabVIEW, C++, etc.
• Electrical wiring layouts/schematics/diagrams using CAD tools (Solidworks Electrical desirable)
• Experience with communication protocols (Ethernet, Profibus, EtherCAT)
• Experience in manufacturing processes is desirable
• Preferred experience with Siemens and Beckhoff platforms
