Electrical Engineer II - Test
This position is for an Electrical Engineer II with at least 2 years of professional experience, located 100% onsite in Tucson, Arizona. U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain an active, transferable U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance are required prior to start date.

Join the Test Equipment Directorate, a multi-discipline organization responsible for developing test solutions for all Raytheon products. Typical work involves designing interface assemblies, selecting and integrating test instruments, and developing test systems for both lab engineering and factory production environments.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and integrate Raytheon test products within Test Equipment in multidiscipline engineering teams.
- Develop both engineering and production test systems, test interface adapters, cabling, technical drawings, schematics, circuit design, and analysis.
- Contribute to all stages of test product development, managing technical, cost, and schedule aspects of assigned projects.
- Act independently or as part of a team to uncover and resolve issues associated with the development and implementation of test products.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of two (2) years of prior relevant experience OR an Advanced degree.
- U.S. citizenship (required for security clearance eligibility).
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued Secret security clearance.
- Experience with electrical engineering, including troubleshooting, analysis, and test.
- Experience with electrical engineering design and analysis tools such as Altium, DX Designer, Mentor Capital, or Creo Schematic.
- Experience with test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, network analyzers, and power meters.
- Experience using schematic capture tools and interpreting schematics.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master of Science degree in STEM (ABET accreditation preferred).
- Ability to provide technical leadership in a multidiscipline team environment.
- Experience with analog, digital, and/or RF design.
- Experience designing, testing, and integrating digital, mixed signal, and electrical system interconnects.
- Experience with integrated development environments and debugging tools for software troubleshooting.
- Self-starter able to manage workload to meet deadlines.
- Experience working in a team environment.
- Proficient technical writing and formal presentation skills.
- Ability to lead single- or multi-discipline teams of engineers.
- Project management, bid, and proposal experience.
- Knowledge of computer architecture and hardware optimization techniques.
- Experience developing and implementing programming languages.
- Experience utilizing existing designs to interface with new units under test (UUTs) and UUT configurations.
- Experience with troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
- Knowledge of RTX projects, programs, or systems for enhancements and daily work leverage.
Pay
The salary range for this role is $68,900 – $131,100 USD. The range is representative of all experience levels and considers factors such as role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
