About the Role
As an Electrical Engineer II, you will provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products and projects. You will report to the Manager of Large Project Electrical Systems & Equipment and be located in Rock Hill, SC. This position is hybrid.
- Use intermediate knowledge obtained from previous applicable experience and core college courses.
- Work with software packages such as ETAP, Mathcad, Maximo, or similar.
- Provide engineering design and analysis for nuclear products/projects, including electrical system design, instrumentation and controls designs, and system wiring.
- Collaborate with other internal departments to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments.
- Plan and schedule work to meet assignment requirements.
- Use standards, techniques, procedures, and criteria for development of engineering design documents, including technical evaluations, obsolete parts equivalencies, calculations, and specifications necessary to support operating plants.
- Work with client and site personnel to resolve issues germane to project success.
- Develop procurement specifications for various electrical commodities and review proposals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering
- 2+ years of experience
- US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Willing to travel to client sites
- Must meet criteria for access to our, partners', and clients' technologies
- Demonstrated knowledge of power plant systems and equipment
- Experience with power projects
Pay
The base salary range for this position is $69,200 to $86,500 per year, dependent upon experience, qualifications, and skills.
