Electrical Engineer II
PAE is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer II to join our team in a hybrid work environment in our New York office. This role is designed for an engineer with a strong technical foundation who is ready to take on more complex design responsibilities.

Responsibilities
- Perform Revit/AutoCAD system engineering
- Design electrical distribution, lighting, and power systems under the direction of a lead engineer
- Prepare project deliverables with attention to detail
- Understand and read plans and specifications; develop skills to edit/write specifications
- Develop the ability to understand other disciplines
- Apply building codes and electrical industry standards
- Prepare electrical load calculations and electrical equipment selection
- Interact with clients and other project team members
- Support the project lead in developing opinions of probable construction costs
- Contribute to site visits and prepare reports
- Thorough understanding of distribution Load Flow, Short Circuit, and Arc Flash Energy analysis using Easy Power
- Implement the project quality management plan (QMP)
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering discipline
- Minimum 1-2 years of Electrical E-1 or equivalent experience
- Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) preferred

Pay
Hiring base salary range: $89,800–$109,700 annual. This position is eligible for time-and-a-half overtime pay. The base salary is one component of PAE’s competitive compensation package for employees. We take into consideration a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, internal equity, and geographic location in determining the exact salary offered.
