Responsibilities
- Contribute to the maturation of Analog and Digital/Mixed-Signal (AMS) subsystems for advanced radar systems.
- Ensure technical excellence and strong cross-functional collaboration.
- Design, verify, transition to manufacturing, and aid in supporting the long-term health of those designs.
- Lead and contribute to design-shaping discussions and technical reviews with multidisciplinary teams.
- Develop robust radar architectures, resolve complex technical challenges, and align work with program objectives and Design for Excellence (DFX) principles.
- Provide technical expertise in AMS circuit design, simulation, and analysis to guide design execution, verification planning, and risk mitigation.
- Contribute to root-cause investigations, trade studies, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance subsystem performance throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Skills / Experience
- Background in Analog & Mixed-Signal Circuit Design
- Strong foundation in analog and mixed-signal circuit theory and hands-on experience developing high-reliability commercial or consumer products
- Understanding of core analog and digital building blocks including operational amplifiers, logic gates, clock buffers, level shifters, power management ICs, current mirrors, charge pumps, oscillators, and voltage regulators
- Understanding of low-speed signaling protocols (e.g. SPI, I2C, etc.)
- Skilled in circuit design and simulation using tools such as Altium Designer (or equivalent) and SPICE-like tools
- Understanding of the intricacies of component selection and layout optimization, balancing efficiency, thermal performance, and signal integrity
- Practical experience applying principles of Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, and Test to improve product quality, testability and yield throughout the design lifecycle
Qualifications
- BS Degree in Engineering, Material Science, or Physics
- 4 or more years’ experience in design of printed circuit assemblies for mixed signal applications
- Eligibility to handle export-controlled information (ITAR/EAR)
