Electrical Engineer I - Relocate to Warroad, MN

About the Role

This position supports the R&D department by participating in electronic design activities, building and testing prototypes, preparing tests, and performing engineering analysis to ensure designs meet requirements. You will provide drafting/modeling and document management support, participate in prototype builds, installation and setup testing, production support, and durability testing. The role is located in Warroad, MN, and relocation assistance is available, including household goods movement, temporary housing, and a relocation counselor.

Responsibilities

• Work with engineers and designers to troubleshoot electronic circuits and systems and help design solutions to resolve identified issues.
• Develop automated testing setups and job aids.
• Create technical summary reports and test documentation.
• Apply a basic understanding of circuit board and firmware design.
• Become intimately familiar with current electronic products and their implementation in fenestration products.
• Perform product installation and setup testing, production support, and soldering of small electronics.
• Read and comprehend engineering systems requirements documents.
• Work with power tools and computer equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering required.
• Working knowledge of 2D and 3D modeling software (Inventor preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to be a positive team member with self-motivation, dependability, and trustworthiness.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
• Proficient organizational, interpersonal, and multitasking abilities.

Pay

$70,000 to $90,000 annually.
