Electrical Engineer Co-Op - Fall 2026

About the role

Responsibilities

• Identify and initiate solutions to problems requiring single discipline involvement and single discipline analytical tools.
• Apply engineering aptitudes at the working level to assure compliance to the customer's and Salas O’Brien’s quality and consistency expectations.
• Perform required work activities on an individual basis or within a project team with limited need for supervision.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned or deemed appropriate of the position by management.

Qualifications and Experience

• You are working towards a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
• You are interested in electrical power distribution from 34.5kV down to 120V.
• AutoCAD/Revit skills are a plus but not required.
• You are available to work full-time, 40 hours per week in the office.

• Excellent work ethic and attitude.
• Interpersonal communication skills, combined with organizational skills, the ability to plan, balance and prioritize work.
• Ability to work well as part of a team.
