Electrical Engineer (3613)

Responsibilities

• Have experience performing electrical drafting
• Collaborate with engineers to create or modify designs and drawings for PPTT equipment
• Review Supplier electrical designs for adherence to technical requirements

Requirements

• An active DOE L Clearance or DOD equivalent is required in order to be considered for this position.
• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
• Minimum of 3 years of work experience as an Electrical Engineer
• Desired Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities include proficiency in performing electrical engineering drafting, knowledge of drafting standards and techniques, experience creating or reviewing electrical engineering designs based on approved technical requirements, proficiency with engineering software, proficiency with Programmable Logic Controllers, low voltage electrical distribution, audiovisual, or telecommunications systems, strong communication and collaboration skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office Products

Qualifications

• Due to the nature of the government contract requirements and/or clearances requirements, US citizenship is required.

Skills

• Proficiency in performing electrical engineering drafting
• Knowledge of drafting standards and techniques

• Proficiency with engineering software, including SolidWorks, SolidWorks Electrical, and/or AutoCAD

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
