About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer 1 you will perform engineering evaluations and analyses of technical products and services to support the operation of nuclear power plants in the nuclear safety and performance field. You will report to the Engineering Manager of Electrical Physical Design. The position offers a hybrid work arrangement, blending remote flexibility with regular on‑site collaboration at our Rock Hill office.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of electrical engineering tasks in support of nuclear power plant operation.
• Utilize 3D/2D design tools.
• Propose solutions to technical challenges that arise during projects.
• Participate in integrated and international project teams and communicate with involved parties.
• Occasionally travel to customer sites or Industry Group Workshops to gather or present technical information.
• Prepare detailed documentation of analyses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Familiarity with 3D and 2D design tools.
• Knowledge of IEEE and IE codes.
• Understanding of nuclear power plant operations.

Pay

Base salary range: $58,400 – $73,000 per year (dependent on experience, qualifications, and skills).
