Electrical/Electronics Engineers

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Ensure excellent engineering support to supply chain management and compliance with OSS&E requirements.
• Interface with the 638th Squadron Engineering Flight Chief and 638 SCMG Director of Engineering.
• Provide technical expertise and management to ensure project/program success.
• Devise and evaluate criteria, parameters, characteristics, and interrelationships for design approaches, and assess the impact of new technology.
• Work encompasses several phases of the developmental process, providing guidance and evaluation of design and development activities within the assigned area(s).
• Conduct Reliability and Maintainability analysis and resolutions.

Required Experience

• A BS in Engineering, preferably Electrical or Computer Engineering.
• Knowledge of professional electronics engineering concepts, principles, practices, standards, methods, techniques, materials, and equipment.
• Knowledge of developmental testing and evaluation.
• Knowledge of integrated air-vehicles, ground systems, and support equipment.
• Knowledge of planning and program management; standard acquisition regulations, practices, and procedures; and other engineering disciplines.
• Ability to devise and evaluate criteria, parameters, characteristics, and interrelationships for design approaches, and assess the impact of new technology.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
