Location: Walpole, MA
Responsibilities
- Perform root cause analysis on manufacturing, design, assembly, and test failures and implement corrective design solutions
- Support redesign efforts for cost reduction, component obsolescence, and second sourcing initiatives
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to qualify new components and address end-of-life issues
- Provide technical support and training to production and technical teams
- Partner with Quality and Test teams to analyze field and production performance trends
- Contribute to design standards and improvements based on lessons learned from existing products
- Support manufacturing processes and help define tools, equipment, and resource requirements
Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably within power electronics
- Experience with analog, digital, and high-voltage circuit design
- Familiarity with ERP and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems
- Knowledge of ISO standards and documentation control requirements
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, and statistical analysis methods
- Strong problem-solving skills (8D, structured analysis techniques)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills

$85K - $110K (DOE)
