Responsibilities
- Support the design of electrical systems for commercial, educational, healthcare, municipal, and other building projects.
- Collaborating with internal teams to develop proposals, scopes of work, and fee estimates.
- Preparing and reviewing plans, specifications, and related bid and construction documents.
- Reviewing project details to proactively identify and mitigate risk.
- Evaluating site conditions and designing electrical systems that meet environmental, safety, and installation requirements.
- Staying current on industry codes, standards, and emerging trends relevant to electrical and civil engineering.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification required.
- Proficiency in engineering design software, including Revit, AutoCAD, Visual Lighting, and SKMD.
- Demonstrated knowledge of commercial building electrical design and applicable codes.
