Responsibilities

  • Produce designs and documentation utilizing computer design and product life cycle management systems.
  • Document parts and bills of materials (BOM).
  • Lead small segments of large projects with responsibility for completion of assignments.
  • Exercise sound judgment in recognition of potential design problems. Detect and correct errors.
  • Develop a good working knowledge and familiarity of design and drafting standard practices, methods, and processes.
  • Maintain competency level of computer aided graphic system and other applications through company provided training and materials.
  • Maintain awareness and adherence to all company safety and security policies and procedures.
  • May be required to travel to various locations to support products and/or train personnel.
  • Receive generalized information and instruction pertaining to assignment from Engineers or senior staff.

Requirements

  • Associate’s Degree in Design or Engineering Technology (or related discipline) is required; OR an equivalent combination of education and work experience will be considered in lieu of an Associate’s Degree.
  • Experience in SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro Engineer or CAD/AutoCAD.
  • Customer driven, innovative, and quality-minded in performance of all assigned duties.

  • Strong understanding of electrical design principles and practices.
  • Proficiency in using SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, Pro Engineer or CAD/AutoCAD.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Pay

Annual Base Salary Range: $49,400.00 - $69,755.00

Schedule

Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.
