For our client, we are seeking a Electrical, Controls & Operability Monitoring Technical Leader to join the team of a leader in the Business Services space. This role will shape the monitoring approach for electrical and controls systems across a complex wind turbine fleet. The leader will drive technical decision-making around fleet health, diagnostics, and response strategies while partnering closely with analytics, engineering, and service teams. This is a highly cross-functional position focused on improving visibility, accelerating issue resolution, and strengthening operational performance. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $131,700 – $219,300 annually Responsibilities Define and evolve the monitoring vision and strategy for electrical and controls systems Lead the design and continuous improvement of monitoring infrastructure and tools Provide technical leadership on complex fleet issues spanning multiple domains Guide development of monitoring requirements and diagnostic logic Partner with analytics and engineering teams to deploy effective monitoring solutions Oversee intervention strategies for swift response to fleet issues Act as a key technical representative in cross-team discussions Mentor team members on diagnostic methods and best practices Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field 10+ years of experience Extensive knowledge of wind turbine systems, especially electrical systems and turbine controls and operability Experience developing fleet monitoring strategies and diagnostic methods Proficiency with SCADA data and operational data analysis techniques Ability to translate complex technical data into actionable monitoring strategies Experience collaborating with data/analytics, engineering, and service teams Strong technical communication skills for diverse audiences Experience mentoring and developing less experienced engineers Benefits Medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage Access to Health Coach and a 24/7 nurse resource Employee Assistance Program for confidential support 401(k) savings plan with company matching and contributions Tuition assistance and adoption assistance programs Paid parental leave and disability benefits 12 paid holidays and permissive time off Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
